Those two guards/soldiers must be the most incompetent cronies in all of Dominaria; They're armed with PIKES and fail to keep an apparently unarmed man out of arm's reach coming at them from in front of them.
Sometimes, even in fantasy, situations are too ludicrous to suspend your disbelief.
