Awesome! Can't wait to use with Desecration Demon, for some late game control. Seems very killable though :'(.

@Dabok Try using Thatcher Revolt. Originally, I made a deck that focused on using cards like that along with stuff like Bloodflow Connoisseur. You may want to do something along those lines, using vampires (Falkenrath Aristocrat if you have the 20 bucks a pop to spend on them) as they are a very efficient way of sacrificing creatures and making things happen. Want more fun? Use a couple Blood Artists

Quite possibly one of the most overpowered cards for black. when paired with a Reaper of the Abyss and some kind of sac ability, you're almost guaranteed a win. What I've come to find is that he's one of the best magnets for removal out there. If you can get your morbid going and bury your opponent in 5/5 demons, great. If he gets 'bolted then your opponent just wasted a kill spell on a 2 cost creature (which you should be able to reanimate later anyway).
I try to look at most creatures that way. If you know your facing a player with lots of removal in their deck, best have them waste it on cheap, dangerous creatures so your Griselbrand doesn't get murdered the turn he comes out.

There's a cookie cutter monoblack deck doing the roungs on MTGO just now, using this. It's comboed with slitherhead to provide cheap early kill fodder, gravecrawler for the same, Geralf's Messenger for some more sacrificeable stuff, and bloodflow conoisseur to do the sacrificing.
I'm pretty sure kids are copying this deck off a website somewhere, because i've seen the exact same thing, down to every last card, at least 10 times. It's pretty powerful. Stopping a demon from coming out is just so hard.
the condition to bring it out is really easy to fill, opinions to the contrary are unjustified imo.

Quite good. in my {B}{W} cleric deck he puts a lot of pressure on people. Clerics have the tendency to gain a lot of health and be large enough to block. Being able to turn removal into 5/5 flyers is handy. The deck won't be winning the game before turn 6, or hell, even turn 8 a lot of the time, but damned if it'll lose very often ;).
With that, I'll mention that he's spectacular in multiplayer. After 3-4 player turns, someone's bound to sac, attack, or some such; and you tap for a quick 5/5 beater/blocker; if you're lucky, you do that on t3.

This thing will usually demand removal in the right deck.
I use it in a sacrifice one, where Cartel Aristocrat can help him summon, and if times get desperate, you can sacrifice the demon (maybe because of a Pacifism or something) to get a new one, or fuel even more shenanagins.
Gets you T3 5/5 fliers.

I bet he'd actually be a fairly sweet condition in a heaver black wall deck using Doran, Siege Tower
I mean youve got the things you need to tap, and can kill with either your walls dealing damage to things via Doran's tricks or Black/green death/
Yeah...I might have to try that.
