This can be played as defensive creature: If your opponent attacks you, he or she has to deal with double-pumped blockers, and if your opponent ~doesn't~ attack you, he or she has to give you two life points! :) Unfortunately, the strict mana costs prevent you from using the same ability twice in a turn by abusing untapping effects..

I splash red into my black green deck just for a couple of copies of this guy, 'overun' my opponent, or ill sit back and drain 'em to death if i'm on the defensive

My favorite of the -scape Masters. I remember my friend using it against me to great effect. He later traded me his copy, which now resides in my Jund Devour deck- a repeatable overrun tends to allow tokens to end the game all on their own!
