Amazing card, but I'm sorry folks:
Control Magic is BLUE.
(see: Control Magic, Treachery, Abduction, Mind Control, Confiscate, Dominate, etc.)
That said, this is *not* off-flavor for Black.
Black and Blue are allies in mind bending, after all.
The life loss is a very nice (and very Black) touch.

Now this card just got even better with infect. I punish you for playing infect. In UB deck that has no infect you could kill another player with poison just for laughs.

Yes, black should have control magic.

I'm pretty sure it's actually sunblast angel without her helmet, judging from the armor she's wearing. With this I can run 8 copies of "mind control" in a blue black deck, awesome. Only problem is that with domestication, and volition reigns, this card is kind of obsolete. I can run it in mono black, but a mind control for 6 mana that hurts them.. while still good.. isn't the same as a 5 mana mind control in blue that is all upside, or a more color intensive volition reigns that lets me take anything.
Still, I probably will make a creature steal deck with it that has 4 of these.. 4 mind controls.. and then just go crazy on anyone playing titans. Will be terrible against pyromancer ascension and proliferate decks, but still be fun anyways.
On a side note, notice how numerous black cards are always depicting some angel getting killed? For example... doom blade, induce despair, slave of bolas, grasp of darkness, etc.

Interest design, the creature damaging its owner.
You'll benefit from Lifelink, Infect, or any other affects that come from noncombat damage being dealt.
Very nice.
Oh, and the card art is wicked.
