Pulled her out of 1 of 2 packs on Christmas day! Though sadly she is now only $35.
I remember a few months ago when she was $80 and someone at my LGS traded a Force of Will for her! He was playing Standard U/B control with 3 of her and 4 Snapcaster mages. It made my heart warm when my Standard, Pauper, Infect deck beat him 2-1. With my most expensive cards being 4 Glistener Elves (which were $1 at the time), the cumulative value of my deck couldn't have been over $10.

5/5 for my favorite card ever printed. I love Black, I love sexy ladies, I like 3 drops, and I like control. She is all of these rolled into one card. Best planeswalker printed so far, take that Jace, the Mind Sculptor I had 3 of you and now I have 0, yet I have 5 Lilies, I opened 3 and traded up for other two.

She's good, but not $70 good. And she's certainly not $70 good this early in the block, since there really aren't that many fun things to dump in your graveyard yet.
Unless you're just using her as a $70 edict, she's a build-around-me card. Like Tezzeret, she needs support cards to take advantage of her abilities, and one reanimation spell and a 7 CMC dig spell aren't quite cutting it for me. Personally, I'll just play Tezzeret--who does have an entire block to support his abilities (and can actually kill my opponent)--and pick up my playset of Lilly after the price crashes in two months.

Ha ha. Didn't expect to run into so many hardcore feminists on a magic site. I don't hate women in general though. Only a select few have earned that privilege, and are certainly not granted it based solely on their gender. Hell, I thought it was funny. I like the card and was personally amused when I realized that her list of abilities parallel three very prominent b!tchy female stereotypes. You know. Irony..? Well, a few people got it.

In regards to Steve Argyle's artwork http://cyrem.org/noir/mtg-innistrad-liliana-of-the-veil-official-artwork-preview-spoiler/ both are amazing, but the one chosen for the card is much more subdued and the background is much simpler, the alternate one shows Liliana in a more provocative "belly dancer" type outfit, the background has a very S&M, skulls and bones feeling to it. I think both artwork have their merits, but the alternate artwork would've represented her Ultimate a lot better, having to sacrifice permanents seems really suited for Liliana's personality. 5/5
