Works well with Melira, Sylvok Outcast and creatures with persist.
Similarly, creatures with undying and something like Sage of Fables to get the +1/+1 counters off.

Glimpse of Nature on legs. Absurd in multiples, (which isn't uncommon to draw into a second copy off of just Arbor Elf and Avacyn's Pilgrims) at which point you can just draw your whole deck. I play 4 in my big mana green deck, just play it, seriously, just play it. Works well w/ Restoration Angel & Cloudshift and even just a good beater to just play on turn 3. At first I was not sure of how good this guy was, this guy is absurdly busted. I put 2 reliquary tower in my deck due to how much card advantage i lose from having to discard at the end step. With this card in my standard deck, I have come close to just decking myself (like within dream twist range) by drawing my whole deck off of him.
5/5 Absurdly underrated, if you untap w/ him you sort of just win. It's how I fight through Supreme Verdict.

Not sure how to rate him yet.
I do like that it's "Whenever a creature enters the battlefield" and not "whe ever you cast creature spell"l like the mentioned Primordial Sage. Means he could be useful in a Recurring Nightmare deck..hmmm...

Errr how is this less than 4/5 stars? It's a 6/6 trampler for 6, with CARD ADVANTAGE, and no down side. People are so spoiled.
Anyway, this one is a cornerstone fatty in my Sages of the Anima deck. With those two out for a turn or two, I can drop a Myojin of Life's Web and flood the board with game-ending fatties. So. Satisfying.

The flavor text and art really help this card feel like a good force of nature in this blighted world. And he also happens to be a good card too. 4/5

Now a one-drop on turn 7 is much less disappointing.

Oh my goodness! I have a budget EDH Animar, Soul of Elements deck... This guy would be amazing and he's definitely budget friendly!
I can't help but think this guy would be amazing in any Animar deck...
For Animar, he's better than Primordial Sage seeing as how flicker/bounce effects like Shrieking Drake or Faerie Impostor work so well with Animar. But run both anyway!
