A better comparison would be Juggernaut. Same cost, same P/T. This guy doesn't have to attack every turn, but he pretty much guarantees that your opponent will have a blocker every time after the first. Then again, it doesn't have to be a good blocker...

Interesting discrepancy in the oracle.
If this were translated as all the other cards that said "0: Do something to accomplish something else", then untapping an opponent's creature would have been part of the cost, as opposed to an effect of a triggered ability.

Anyway, it seems like it's still not useless, but the drawback is a bit heavy for me.

Turn that drawback into an advantage in a Lure deck with creatures like Tolarian Entrancer and Elven Warhounds.

I believe the flavor is that because he has to wind himself up, it gives someone time to rest and block him, or something. Basically it takes time for him to get ready so someone else also has time to get ready.

4 cast 5/3 huh? Better than Wooly Thoctar in my opinion because you're not restricted with the mana.

This used to be quite a beater in the old times.

An attempt to remake Juggernaut. Combos well with Voltaic Key.

Amusing tech against things like Callous Oppressor, allowing you to untap them to end their effect.

Untap thair Old Man of the Sea or some such. Great card.

Neat art- I just realized he's reaching back to wind himself back up. Maybe he needs the help of an enemy creature to carry this out? Strange flavor-function disconnect, right there.
