Just a tad better than Tome Scour.

It's no Tome Scour, but it certainly fits any mill deck. It's actually better, as it's an instant and it just hovers there in your graveyard, threatening to come back and make their graveyard 3 cards bigger.

This card was wonderful in Limited because of the deck size. Not sure how it'll stack in Modern, but I will say it's a necessity for any Mill decks just because of the cheap cost and the flashback. Mill six for IUU.

Self-mill for self-mill decks.
I guess you could mill your opponent with it too. You know, if you really wanted.

@EternalPhi
Isochron Scepter clearly says that you exile an instant card. Tome Scour and Glimpse the Unthinkable are both sorcery, so that's a pretty good reason to pick this over them.

Regardless, why the hell would you put this on isochron scepter? There are far better targets for it. unless you really wanted to mill someone for three every turn, in which case, there are better options still.
