I'm glad he's being reprinted; he was a fun little vampire card. However, I'd rather have a Nighthawk reprint. Is that asking too much?

Suture Priest is better, but this is still an effective sideboard against Splinter Twin combos.

In a U/B control deck, Leyline of Singularity with this is deadly. Why? Because you get to cast Hunted Horror and Hunted Phantasm with their negative effects turned into positive effects.

A few of these guys on the board absolutely obliterates mass token decks. Also, like the_sixth_degree said, he has good tribal and is black removal immunity.
