I love this new art on a classic old card. My red/blue Niv-Mizzet EDH deck already has a Brainstorm, of course, but now more new players will get a chance to use this excellent card.

Shouldn't this have storm? 'Cause, y'know, it has storm in its name?

I love how this is rated higher than Ancestral Recall right now. How long do you think that will last?

Is this card as good as ponder? I have ponders and I like the ability to shuffle your library if you do not like the next three cards. But which one is more efficient?

THANK YOU! FINALLY some art that the Vorthos in me doesn't cringe at! Might use them now.

@Jmonkey
This one is more efficient, thanks to the instant speed. This was one of the key cards in Draw/Go counterspell decks back in the day. Cast it during your opponet's end step and you get to scry your deck, get a card, AND shuffle the trash if you need to all before you untap.

My girlfriend got four of these for her draw/mill deck, and believe me things can get hairy REAL quick. She uses these to fire up playsets of Lorescale Coatl and Psychosis Crawler. Yeah...

Silly Brainstorm, you're technically a more broken Ancestral Recall because you can protect up to 2 key cards in my hand from Thoughtseize, Hymn to Tourach, and Unmask.
