Actually very solid in a post innistrad reanimator deck as a cheap way to get cards into the graveyard. Not to mention that angel of serenity, one of the cards you'll undoubtedly be discarding for his 1/1 counters can bring other cards back to your hand for additional discard and shenanigans. So many possible rescue from the underworld shenanigans with this guy. Not to mention the fact that this thing is incredibly cheap for what it does and can get real crazy, real fast. Flavor is great, art is amazing, usability is amazing as well for his versatility, one of my favorites from rtr block. 5/5.

He's good for a beater, but it gets easy to get 3, maybe ever 4-for-1'ed with this guy. Unless of course, your opponent is willing to throw some of their creatures under the bus.
And damn, the synergy with slitherhead is pretty ridiculous

Single-handedly neuters the Battle the Horde game day deck. get one of these out, toss your hand and you're good to go, maybe use a Scavenging Ooze or Gift of Orzhov in order to patch back some damage dealt to you
