Even such mediocre cards as this look awesome for having all the cool Ravnica buildings in their background.

I wouldn't say perfectly costed. Wind Drake is a touch too expensive for being a 2/2 flier with nothing else, and with this you have, ironically, an even more limiting mana cost.
It's still fair, I suppose, but I'd prefer a little something more. Chapel Geist spoiled me I suppose.

@Majinkajisan: I thought the same too, until I put a Civic Saber in this thing's hands and it turned into a clock. Still, a minor ETB ability or something to make it stand out more from the other 2/x flyers in Azorius colors at 3 CMC would've been nice. Maybe vigilance--it's flavorful and at 2 toughness it's not going to massively upset the balance or anything.

Evasion's always good. I have lost more than one Limited game to these flying sock puppets.

i actually REALLY like this card, as underwhelming as it may seem. I found during pre-release that red/blue/white was a GREAT color combo. the mana base i had let me cast this guy every time without an issue, and do at least 2 damage every turn....

A hybrid card that is costed perfectly. Only playable in newbie decks for the most part but whatever.

Doesn't Sunspire Griffin put this to shame? In the same set, in the same slot? Is spirit tribal really worth 1 less toughness?

Pros like me think that this is perfectly costed for a flier of this body and creature type.
