Rather play Cemetery Reaper, or other p/t boosters.

Global instant speed creature pump is a cool concept, but this could affect your opponent's creatures if they are also playing black. I guess you can argue that it's potential disadvantage adds to the card's flavor, but I think I'd rather invest my mana elsewhere.
