hm...the attendant's seem interesting. obviously the point they emphasize is that colorless and artifact ramp is probably going to be fairly widely available, whereas Colored Mana Fixing belongs entirely to either Artifacts that are too powerful, or Green.
So the Green Attendants all simply pale next to Birds of Paradise, which even today can stand tall and proud next to Lotus Cobra as just slightly less power for much more reliability and versatility.
BRG, RGW, GWU all can use Birds.
leaves WUB and UBR to prove that Attendants are worth using. WUB has artifact abusers...which it would rather use on more oppressive artifacts. Like Blightsteel Colossus.
This leaves Crosis' Attendant as the only one I care about.
Use him with Sol Ring, and Rakdos, Izzet, and Dimir Signets. :)
