I remember a kid who actually motioned within my group of friends to change this guy's color from green to blue, because "Obviously, guys! He's blue!" We actually took it as a very serious suggestion and it was a huge source of playground debate. Ah, kid logic. Good times.

I can remember opening Ice Age boosters, hoping to open nothing more than a Scaled Wurm. He was the biggest creature I knew about, and therefore the best. When I opened that Polar Kraken instead I was disappointed, as even despite it's greater size, no f'ing way was I going to give him all that land! It wasn't nearly as handsome and regal as Scaled Wurm, either. I learned that there was a lot more to a creature than sheer size.
Sure, this realization taken further would lead me to avoid using cards like Scaled Wurm in the future. But it makes me ever more appreciative of the card; it was a big scaly step up on my way to becoming a better player.

Laughable by today'd standards, but still amusing for the time, and a great target for reanimation back in the day since it was huge and had no drawback.

Just answer the following question.
Which card was depicted on Ice Age boosters, decks, boxes, posters, etc.?
Necropotence?
Zuran Orb?
Brainstorm?
Jester's Cap?
Incinerate?
Pyroclasm?
Demonic Consultation?
None of the above, guys, none of the above...

I traded my royal assassin for this guy and a fireball back in the day. A 7/6 creature was the biggest creature I had ever seen and I had just been finished by a fireball. It was my first game off course...
