Even as a sorcery, when compared to Pyrotechnics, the 3-mana cost sounds reasonable enough. It's no Arc Trail, but it still does its job fine in 2-to-1 your opponent.

Very good in limited. A potential 3 for 1 or 2 for 1 is a good deal, especially in red.

Strictly worse than Arc Lightning because it can't kill 6 Little Girls XD

Edit: Dammit, I just read Oracle text .__.

Well, the idea of pinging a High Priest of Penance on a Darksteel Plate infinite times seems broken I guess.
