I used this guy early on in a game today to help save me from an exalted beatdown. Great card. Good for the curve.

This is currently the only creature card legal in Standard format.

A four-of in my clock of omens deck.
After you run out of artifacts, it functions with a pair of Pili-Pala as:
: put a +1/+1 counter on this

The earliest drop creature that grants itself counters. I'm currently running him alongside Vorel and he gets big, fast. Be wary of doom blades and keep Simic Charms handy!

Wait wait wait. Im trying to absorb the story here. So to avoid dying from a plague, a clockmaker makes a robot body and installs his arm and his head inside. But then he loses control and it kills him and finishes itself. Okay, so this is a wind up type of machine? Can someone explain the story to me a bit more? I'm kind of lost. The art seems to have something inside the abdomen that the key controls. What is it?

A real slow-pump, sure, but does it bone?

Its a nice little card to spend your spare mana on, and he can be extremely useful in artifact, golem, or simic decks.
Heck he's actually pretty useful in Dimir. Wind him up with a ciphered Hidden Strings on an unblockable creature and watch him go.
