Weirdly, in my FNM playgroup, this was a "High-Pick" card.
I personally never took it, but truthfully, you get:
A: a 2/2 creature with evasion (and the ability to block evasion)
and
B: a Mighty Leap.
When I thought about it that way, this card can win you games.
But don't think about playing it anywhere else.

I'm rather new to MTG and need some help explaining this creatures ability.
When I play this card I must choose a target creature (or it self?), giving this creature +2/+2 and flying until end of round. But then what? Is the card discarded? Does it stay on the battlefield as a regular +2/+2 with flying? Can it be used next round on another creature?

Hi Rainly,
When you use this card, you pick a creature (any creature, it could be another creature you control, the bird itself, or even an opponent's creature) and give it +2/+2 until the end of the turn. After that, the bird stays on the battlefield and can be used to attack and defend, just like any other creature. It will be a 2/2 creature with flying.
