too expensive for constructed, but in drafts he might be the creature that breaks a deadlock, allowing your creatures in for damage and possibly growing bigger if tribal. Also, a 4/4 haste with a weird form of one time evasion isn't exactly bad, just not going into most tribal decks like i would want it to.

He's pricey yes, but in Limited stopping two blockers and swinging in with a big hastey dude? That's where he really shines. In constructed, if you're playing aggro red then this might be the guy to get you past those annoying chump blockers and let your guys get some needed +1/+1 counters, while providing a meatier vampire than we normally see on the colour.
Worth considering in Constructed, and no doubt. But he'll only work if you're building the right kind of deck.

Well, for all it's worth for, it is definitely better than Night Revelers...

@Skaercrow: It'd be pretty difficult to make every card good in Constructed. A lot of cards are also designed for the Limited and Draft formats, and some of the most nail-biting and fun games come from those formats.

Potentially a limited bomb for a creature heavy deck, but, as has been said, worthless every where else.

Not a bad draft but will never see constructed play. Too bad because the art is Amazing!!!

Weird flavor. Since when are the vampires in open warfare?

Just a little bit overpriced for constructed. 3RR would have been about right, I think. I still may end up using him in a casual vampires deck, though.
In limited, though, this guy is a bomb. Probably not a first pick in draft, but worth a serious look as a second pick. For being good in limited and marginal in constructed, he gets a 3/5.

Commander Review: Blows. 4/4 for 6 mana sucks, even with haste and pseudo evasion. It might possibly (or not) connect once for four damage, and from then on it's a (still) overcosted 4/4 vanilla guy.
1/5
