I'll take this over Ronin Warclub any day. It's way more efficient to support weenie strategies, and unlike the club the attachment ability is optional. It sucked when you had to pay 5 to reattach your warclub to the guy you wanted it on because you played a creature last turn.

This is sort of the mirror of Grifter's Blade. Whereas the Sai can auto-equip to a freshly summoned creature, you can auto-equip the blade to a present creature when it's freshly cast (in more than one sense of the word "cast"). Anyone care to guess which of these two is more likely to show up in a Core Set? (My money's on Grifter's Blade.)

Way more cost efficient than Ronin Warclub at the cost of one point of power. Probably well worth it for the tempo you can get from it. Also, the may is nice too.

This gets you 1/3 Ornithopter on the first turn for a single mana if you're playing a typical ninja deck.

now that we've seen Ronin Warclub, and Sai of the shinobi we need to see one that's taken to the opposite extreme. Like, +3/+3 with an equip cost of 8. Casting cost 4.

ooh, more cheap equipment Kemba gets easily, and this could actually equip to her on turn three like Lightning Greaves! I mean it's no lightning greaves, but still. Kemba EDH makes this awesome.

Raphael, the Rude EDH because nobody will play against Umezawa's Jitte.

use Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang for Leonardo, the Leader EDH,

Grappling Hook for Michaelangelo, the Party Dude EDH,

and idk what for Donatello, Doer of Machines EDH. Rod of Ruin?

But for real, equip this to a Turtleshell Changeling and make it block a Silent-Blade Oni. I. DARE. you. Actually Turtleshell with Jitte, Hook, and Tatsuma could actually kill The Shredder! xD
