Did anyone else find Koth's deck a little slow? This is spectacular, but my friends keep killing the deck before I get a chance to use. Oh well, guess I'll have to stick him in an EDH deck instead.

@PinkleDadandy this thing would be dead, so not Phyresis. Tainted Strike instead; when a card is equipped and it dies, it is no longer equipped, so it wouldn't generate poison. But with Tainted Strike, it's treated as just saying that until the end of the turn, even if it dies. Auras would leave before his effect activates.

Actually, I found Koth's deck to be pretty fast. Venser's Deck was pretty much on defense the whole time and unless he pulled some really cool counter that ended up messing up my whole field, I won. In fact, I won three times in a row at full life. I was actually surprised because I thought Venser's deck was the better of the two when I first looked at it.

Now, Nozz, if you're talking about using this deck in games outside of Venser VS Koth games, I would have to call you crazy. This deck is not made to be a good deck for general play. It's made to be a deck you use while playing against its paired deck and nothing more. If you're trying to play with it against any normal decks... unless those decks are played/built by very inexperienced players... you aren't going to do well.
