@Goatllama:
No no no, you got it all wrong! See, Enlisted Wurm's cascade effect brought out Commander's Authority. What you see is the wurm dragging all those 1/1 human tokens along with it.
Yeah, that sounds about right...

@Goatllama, just because 14 1/1 humans could easily kill a 5/5 in your combat phase doesn't mean they are superior flavorfully.
First of all, yes, groups of humans have a history of being able to hunt and kill huge creatures. But there's always risk involved in such a matchup - even though 14 humans could kill this wurm, it would in turn kill five of them. In terms of flavor I would classify almost 40% casualties as "having trouble" bringing down something.
Also, remember there's a difference between the flavor of killing something in combat and bringing it under your power to fight for you. Three 1/1 soldiers could kill a 3/3 elephant. But would those same three soldiers have an easy time harnessing the elephant to fight for their side? I doubt it.

I count 14 1/1 or 2/1 or 2/2 soldiers wrestling with this warm – why are they having so much trouble with a 5/5!?

Cascade into an Armadillo Cloak and suddenly everything's awesome.

@brockdjwest
Except that the wurm wouldn't be a legal target since he's not yet on the battlefield, so you couldn't even put the Armadillo Cloak on him.
