Good, but I wish we had gotten more Werewolves instead of this "Wolfir" nonsense.

I actually love the transition from Werewolf to Wolfir, personally. Very flavorful, nice to see the wolves being the good guys for once. Only bad thing about them is there's only freaking two of them.
As for the Avenger himself, 3/3 for is nice, flash is nice, and regenerate is nice. All in all, a nice card.

Anyone else thing he looks kind of funny? To me he looks less like he's howling and much more like he's looking up saying "Huh" like he just saw a Ghoultree with the Wings of Velis Vel fly over his head.

Replace half the cards in the set with this card, and also make it able to appear in every rarity.
Like, literally, you open up a booster pack and about 7 of the cards in there are Wolfir Avengers.
Nobody would care. We would laugh. We'd make a house rule that you can run any number of this creature in your deck, and if you get 6 or more of them onto the battlefield under your control at the same time you get to yell "Avengers Assemble!" and instantly win the game.
Unfortunately this card isn't nearly common enough to make up for all the crappy cards in this set.
Edit @Lifegainwithbite:
>Implying that using cards like Griselbrand requires any skill beyond "get it into play quickly" and "pay some life" and that I'm so unskilled I can't tell it's a good card.
Hilarious. Avacyn Restored has bomb rares like any other set (they sell well, after all)...what makes it horrible is the terrible Limited environment... (see all)

Seems like late game he's an amazing defender. Just find a way to slap flying on him.

@Silver_Legion: What are you on about? Avacyn Restored had some of the most powerful and flavourful cards ever. Griselbrand? Wolfir Silverheart? Silverblade Paladin? What crappy cards are you even talking about? Maybe you just don't understand how to use them. I'm pretty sure all the magic players with brains wouldn't want 10 of these in every booster even if idiots like you would.
EDIT: @Sliver_Legion: Not everyone plays limited. Avacyn Restored had some great constructed options. You could have specified and said you were talking about limited only. And all sets have dead cards - not all cards can be good. See Leyline Phantom or Debtor's Pulpit from Gatecrash. That doesnt mean every booster should have ten of one card just because you and your friends happen to like it and want boosters to be based around limited only. Also this card is very powerful and it doesn't take a ridic... (see all)

@Gum_Mage He is not a werewolf, he is a wolf warrior. That is is sort of a bid deal triballybecause it is left out of many of the cool cards that come with werewolf tribal. Though, some (like me) want wolf tribal against all logic and reason so, this, I am main-decking. Hey, look on the bright side, wolf tribal tribal gets to keep Moonmist and Mayor of Avabruck.
Now to the card itself.
Efficient? Check
Aggressive? Check
Value? Check
Flavor? Check
Whether you're flashing it in on your opponent's turn, cascading into it, or hardcasting it, this card is VALUE. Just, a great guy to have on the field. I mean seriously, Regenerate on a flashable 3 mana guy? Imagine flashing this guy in with Wolfir Silverheart on the field, can you say BLOWOUT? While he may not combo the greatest, he does what he needs to do and he does it for low mana. No complaints here. I mean imagine flashing this guy in with... (see all)
