Now with Hypersonic Dragon, this is actually a kill spell!
1. Have Hypersonic Dragon on the field.
2. Cast Pillar of Flame targeting your opponent.
3. Retain priority, cast this.
4. Wonder why you haven't won by the time you got to 6{R}{R}{R}{R}
A fun casual combo, anyway.

Use oblivion ring on barren glory, play this and GG. To be honest I'm surprised no one else mentioned that. It could also trigger Near-Death Experience.

Example:
1st turn: mountain
2nd turn: play Memnite, Infernal Plunge, Seething Song x3, Remove Simian Spirit Guide from hand. Spend 10 mana to suspend Rift Bolt and cast Worldfire.
3rd turn: Rift Bolt opponent. gg ^^
Also potential 5th turn winning combo with Koth of the Hammer and Rift Bolt/Keldon Marauders.

@ Firenzen: Reread Geosurge. The mana can't be spent on sorceries.
Red needs more Johnny cards, and with the return of Niv-Mizzet (hopefully) coming soon, Wizards, red better get just that.
