It'll be interesting to see if she manages to battle through all the geistflames and gut shots out there.

Because Aura Gnarlid wasn't insane enough on it's own, this champion had to go and one up it. I really love blanket unblockableness.

In any other set/block, she would have been an elf.

Quick question, if i bring this back to life with Angel of Glory's Rise, and i also get back some other humans, do i get the counters on it or because they are being put onto the battlefield at the same time do i not?

Thanks, I'm new to magic and this is like my second deck I'm building

I've got a question: Using Birthing Pod on Strangleroot Geist to turn it into this - will Champion get the +1 from the Geist returning due to the Undying effect?

@Arthalagos:

You sacrifice the Geist to pay for Birthing Pod's activation. Since the Geist died, its undying trigger is now on the stack. Since you paid the cost of an ability (Pod), that is now on the stack. Assuming no one else adds to the stack, it resolves in this order:
1. Pod
2. Undying
So your Champion is a 2/2, and your Geist is a 3/2. Hooray!

I would've wanted to pull this as my green rare in my fatpack.
I like building straightforward beatdown decks, which is why I would've loved this more than Somberwald Sage, but hey the latter is really a GREAT ramp card, so I'm not going to complain :)

Nothing like putting 5 1/1 counters on this with Increasing Savagery and swinging for 6 unblockable on turn 3.
