Let's not forget Cursecatcher was a Merfolk. This may fly, but the tribe is a big part of what made him great. Being just a bird, this becomes simply a more limited Force Spike that your opponents can see and play around really easily. I'm not saying it's bad by any means, but overrated is pretty apt.

Moment I saw this in one of the first round of spoilers I figured he'd be near the top.
Also, just to add to the fun - there's a lot of good bird tribal in blue and white. Yup folks, his tribe is actually relevant too.
