@divine_exodus:
Don't blame Wizards of the Coast, blame the "Abberdigital" Australians.
My biggest question is the ruling:
"Putting the card onto the battlefield is optional. When the ability resolves, you can choose not to."
Why would you use three mana to NOT put a card on to the battlefield? Nothing changes but the amount of mana in your pool...

It's indeed a very powerful card in Minotaur decks, yet there's one problem:
They are a very unfortunate tribal type.
I'd rather play this card with Conspiracy or Changelings.

I still don't understand this card.
So didgeridoos (aboriginal instrument) attract minotaurs (greek monsters) do they?
I'm sure the connection here is just as stretched.

Aboriginal Minotaurs.
One of the very few good things about Homelands.

Opponent: *trollface* Lol, you gonna swarm me with minotaurs?
You: Nope, I cast Artificial Evolution!
You: Naming slivers!

perfect in most minotaur decks cause you can use the ability more than once a turn, i have a merfolk/minotaur deck with no red mana. how ever i have four didgeridoos, in one turn i can tap 12 mana for 4 4/4 haste minotaurs! i can not see how this card could ever be bad.
