Awesome card. I've only played him a few times (keep ripping my G/B deck apart for spare parts) but he's a beast. Any card that lets you kill your opponent without even swinging is awesome in my book.

Okay so what do you guys think of this:
You start the match first-
Turn 1: Elvish Mystic
Turn 2: Lotleth Troll, discard and scavenge a Slitherhead
Turn 3: Jarad Golgari Lich Lord, discard and scavenge another Slitherhead, swing for 6
Turn 4: Dying Wish on Lotleth troll, swing with Lotleth for 6 (And maybe Jarad for 2?), sac lotleth with Jarad's ability to deal an extra 12 damage and gain 6 life.
You go second in the match-
Turn 1: Elvish Mystic
Turn 2: Lotleth Troll, discard and scavenge a Slitherhead, Enchant with Forced Adaptation or use a Blessing of Nature or any counter buff that costs 1 green
Turn 3: Jarad Golgari Lich Lord, Discard and Scavenge another Slitherhead on Lotleth, swing (and maybe with Jarad as well for 2?)
Turn 4: Dying Wish on Lotleth, Swing for 8, Sac Lotleth with Jarad's ability to deal an extra 16 damage while gaining 8 life and thus most likely killing them. (Used Forced Adaptation as an example as the turn 2 extra counter source so your overall damage may ... (see all)

This guy is absolutely amazing and will be a bomb in both limited and constructed. At first I thought that he only partially comboed with scavenge because when you scavenge, you exile, but, because I am a pro, I quickly realized that you can scavenge and put the counters on top of him!

I played him as my EDH general, and found that The Mimeoplasm is a better choice for graveyard stuff.
If your opponent plays Tormod's Crypt/Relic of Progenitus/Reminisce + many others, you're finished with him. With The Mimeoplasm, you're only screwed by Relic.
A good limited bomb, though.

So much bad information in here, at least, IMO.
-He does not combo well with scavenge: They rely on the same resource.
-He does not combo well with Red steal effects: A third color with 4 color weight is a death sentence to reliability; further, it doesn't help him at all since he relies on creatures in your grave.
Anyway, obviously he's great with dredge.
-Consider (as general advice) Riftstone Portal to help achieve a reliable mana-base.
-Consider evoke creatures, Specifically shriekmaw and briarhorn.
-Despite the anti-synergy, consider things like Ichorid (he can also be resusably-sacced for a consistent 3 life-loss on top of the 3 attack)
-Very handsome synergy with Golgari Grave-Troll and Lord of Extinction. In multiplayer you'll probably 1-hit a guy on the attack, then 1-hit another guy on the sac.
-Because of the huge effects, consider fast reanimator... (see all)

Slaughterhorn buff your attacking creature, discarding a card which buffs Jarad +1 / +1 then you could Use his Sac ability for more damage and another card in the gy?

Looks like Subway just opened up a new location in the Korozda district, with Jarad as their spokesperson and their own localized menu items. Jarad gained +1/+1 from eating at Korozda Subway, and you can too. Korodza Subway: EAT FLESH!

At first I thought this was a reference to Labyrinth, then I realized it was Jarad, not Jareth... Nor is he a sexy 80's glam Goblin King... Oh David Bowie, how you have blessed this world.
