his art looks more like a warrior than a druid, imo.

At first I thought Druid's weren't a strong enough tribal.
But in truth, a lot of the good druid's are actually good Elves. The problem with that is most Elf Druid's already have an ability that is somewhere along the lines of, ": Add to your mana pool".
Mind you, there are still a few Druid's that don't have an activated ability that work well with this: Argothian Enchantress, Joiner Adept, Gilt-Leaf Archdruid, Yavimaya Elder, Treefolk Harbinger, Nantuko Cultivator, and lest we forget the Squirrel lords Nut Collector and Squirrel Wrangler.
If you want to do something different, making a Mono-Green EDH deck with him as your general won't be a bad idea. It won't be too expensive to maintain.

You all missing the most glaringly obvious thing. He gives your Druid elf manadork's Haste. its HIS ability tapping things down for manna, not thier one. This is a very important thing. could you imagine if all your mana dorks had haste? You could probably unload your hand the turn this thing comes out and then play your big bomb the next turn.

The fact that he gives all of your little druids "haste" can be a very big deal for one reason: Gilt-Leaf Archdruid. Play a one-mana druid (Llanowar Elves, Fyndhorn Elves, Arbor Elf, Elvish Mystic), draw a card (probably another druid), tap your elf right away to play the new one, wash, rinse, repeat. Easy.
Don't forget that Elvish Harbinger is also a druid and can fetch you whatever elf you want to draw. Another druid, sure, but something like Ezuri, Renegade Leader will give you a way to win with all of those one-drops you sent out. Don't forget that the Archdruid also lets you take all of your opponent's lands to keep him or her from stopping you before you go for the kill!

Love the art on this dude. I felt bad when they killed him off so early into "Onslaught." Braids is such a b!tch.

Seton is one of my favourite creatures in my druids deck. When I first looked at the card, I was disappointed that he was a "more expensive" Heritage Druid, and especially by his being a 2/2. Functionally, however, the card is incredibly efficient, considering cards like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Green Sun's Zenith exist. Often times, Seton functions as a "free cost" card that can add to your devotion right before a Nykthos activation, or sometimes even as an emergency reserve of mana that you can tutor for. His ability more than makes up for his casting cost, and I give him a well earned 4.5/5.
