It has a very unique ability, but i don't like it. four mana for a 2/2 flyer isn't the best, and the ability is expensive and color intensive. in addition, your opponent gets to both choose the card and gets to choose where it goes, and while it may be nice to get them in a lock, most likely they will be willing to take the pestilence, which isn't even one-sided. It is a very interesting card, but i don't think i would be willing to use it a deck.

Interesting indeed... its not a bad card, in a pinch YOU can use him to discard, which i don't see as a downside if you are using it right, AND you get to pestilence. Or you can give that choice of lockdown or discard/pestilence if you don't need to discard. i do agree he sure is trying to do an awful lot, but then again, is that so bad? Only drawback in my opinion is the mana intensiveness of the ability, but this lil guy just tries so hard i can't help but put him in my Pestilence/Death Pits of Rath /prevent damage deck...

This card is trying to do too many things. The fact that it is not immediately obvious whether you should target yourself or your opponent is a big tip-off that something is wrong.

He definitely gives you options, and I see an opportunity for some 'top card of your library' shenanigans.
I guess I'll just drop this Emrakul on top of my deck. Oh, Mindshrieker? Do you feel like swinging this turn?
4/5 for combo's, lacks focus though, and the abilities kinda spendy.
