A flying creature that knows how to land? What madness is this?

EARTHQUAKE *gains flying*
HURRICANE *loses flying*
Opponent: Ok this thing is getting annoying: Wrath of God
*phases out*
Opponent: I should really try reading these cards sometime.

The ability to swap flying and non-flying is actually quite tactical in situations where the opponent plays a spell that hits either flying or non-flying creature (Earthquake or Hurricane). The phasing ability is also good at evading removal spells when needed.

I remember reading in an Inquest back in the day that this guy was part of some infinite combo, using his two abilities ad finitum. Unfortunately, I can't remember what other card was involved. >.>
Definitely a great creature. 6 CMC 4/4 Flier in blue is great, and he can gain or lose flying whenever it suits you.

Ah this is one of my top 5 favorite Dragons. I just hate how its underrated. Almost everyone I know says this card is crap just because he is a 4/4 instead of a 5/5. I still put him in my mono blue side deck.
