Oh, also this is one of the few ways for a red deck to get rid of its own enchantment, like Necropotence, Colfenor's Plans, Manabarbs, or Pandemonium.

I can't believe this allows you to exile something you don't own. Cast Act of Treason effect, attack the opponent with their own creature, and then exile it rather than giving it back or just sacrificing it. The slow trip means it is not a two-for-one against you as other commenters would have you believe: Yes, you have to use the Act of Treason effect and this (2) to remove their one permanent (1), but you draw a card the next upkeep to replace this so you are really only down 1 card to their 1 card. And note that this says permanent, so this can be enchantment removal in red with Zealous Con***s Word if Seizing, and red gets few answers to enchantments like Oblivion Ring that can't be dealt with by just killing the player. And don't forget that it can be emergency answers to your pacified commander or a Mind Controlled creature of yours if really needed. The fact that it's conditional means... (see all)
