Reasons I love this card:
It's an instant
It's cheap
It has flashback, which is doubly awesome
The effect doesn't end at end of turn, so what I use this for is to change color protection on creatures with my spell deck so red can target them. Basically, an uncountered Altered Reality is bad news for poor Akroma and her Memorial.
"Correction: you had protection from red."
