3 land for 5 life is overcost?! I think not! Definetly with ramp is where its at these days..that 5 life could be what separates you from a lose.

Great against discard decks, but a tad overcosted otherwise.

That kills discard decks. I know it returns at the end of the turn, but it returns non the less. It kills discard like the legendary eldrazi kill mill decks.

I'd rather just have Squee, who returns regardless of whose thing is making him get discarded.

Opponent has a Specter? Laugh at them. Especially 2 seems to be a common power for specters.

Overall, it's only really useful against dedicated discard decks, since otherwise the card disadvantage you save yourself from is offset by the fact that you're playing, well, a lifegain card. Especially since it's the same CMC as Divination.
