Decent body for the mana but the battlion trigger is a big conditional to have two other attacking creatures to give it flying. Its better used with cheap pumps.

As far as casual white knights, Leonin Skyhunter is probably better overall because of its reliability.

Another weenie that essentially needs his Boros buddies (Boros Elite) to be truly effective, but his Battalion is essentially a free ability in weenie decks and a 3/1 flyer on turn 3 is great.
