Take a moment to stare deep into this creature's eyes, and then imagine that it makes this noise;

It triggers evolve with its high toughness, then is affected by every evolve trigger. For 3 mana. Plus, it's unblockable. 4.5/5 for being ridiculous, but won't win on its own. I'd do 4.75/5 if I could

This was called "Zac's Steatopygous Mutant" in development. I have a new favorite word, but it could be tricky to use in day-to-day conversation.

The only unblockable with 0 power.

Unblockable evolve seems nuts. It actually has reasonable toughness too, so it doesn't need to wait to evolve before doing anything.

I'm surprised he's not higher. The fact that he's 0/4 means he'll keep getting beefed up while avoiding early removal, and swings for unblockable damage.

Considering that everything evolves this guy, I'd say he's pretty good. Block with him until he gets big enough, then start swinging.

My friends and I play in-block, so I foresee this guy getting good to great with Biomass Mutation getting played. Also, some of my favorite things Magic, all on one card!

Attack with this guy when he's still a 0/4 to play mind games with your opponent.

I definitely think this is worse than I would expect, but wow is this a great implementation of Evolve! It provides a very good early-game stall, and turns into a finisher later when you have more creatures

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
