Why do I feel that Weavile would want to play this card?

Adephage.... the most common kind of insect... which is the second most common lifeform on the planet (after bacteria)... so it's the most common of the second most common...
....is a mythic rare. WIZAAAAAAAAAARDS.

In limited, I can't see losing with this guy. He'll go great in EDH too!

It's not a bad advice when someone tells you that you should hang out with people you have stuff in common with.
This guy took it to a whole other level.

Big. Evasive. Makes copies of himself. The copies make copies. What's not to like?
Update: Pulled him in my simic prerelease sealed pool. Along with Stolen Identity. Yeah. It happened. >=D

Mana cost is just too high. 5 years ago this would have been OK, but now the power creep has passed this level. How can WotC print this as a mythic rare in the same set with Obzedat, Ghost Council?
Great art though.

My friend is running this in his casual Simic deck. He casted if after playing Master Biomancer in a multiplayer match. I'm still having nightmares about those 9/9 monstrosities.
Do not underestimate it, it will eat your everything.

Boring as $#!@. 'Mythic' along the same lines as Necropolis Regent and Vorapede.
