the last time we had a Human Insect Wizard....it didn't cost 4 mana. It also wasn't as fun to play with as it was to look at. This appears to have fixed all those problems:
It now costs 4 mana.
It now is fun and fair.
It now has slightly (like a star less) weaker art,
BUT the tradeoffs seem fair. :)

"And for my next trick, I'll turn into a beetle! GRAH!"
"..yeah, we get it."

This thing performed many beat downs in the pre-release.

One thing that often works well with cards that have activated abilities reading "use this ability only once each turn" is rings of brighthearth. Though there are more powerful combo pieces for the ring than this.
This guy is very good in limited. In constructed... I don't think he will be that good. Without the two mana spent he'd too bad, and spending two mana each turn would slow you down too much.

This is easily one of, if not the best commons in the set for limited. :)

You thought Human Insect was a weird type line? This dude adds Wizard to that.

I got tore up by this guy in the pre-release so I learned my lesson. Drafted RtR last night, and the Human Insect Wizard was my first pick. I went undefeated. This plus Give got me a 7/7 flyer on turn 5. Very solid in limited. 4/5
