Read this as "Advent of the Worm", and suddenly it was God Emperor of Dune all over again.
This will probably raise the value of all bouncing cards in the format

The wurm art in this set is a certainly more tasteful than its Return to Ravnica counterpart ....

I'm just going to come out and say it. I don't really like this card much.
Don't get me wrong, it's a very powerful design and I'm sure that there was a good reason for it being included in Dragon's Maze. But I just don't like it much from a synergistic standpoint.
When a card has a lopsided design, it encourages you to build a deck that uses the strengths of the card, but to cover for its weaknesses as well. A card like Adaptive Snapjaw for example... that makes you think. You see that 6 power and you want to use it, but that 2 toughness seems to stop you from attacking effectively. So what do you do? You find other cards that synergize well with it. Maybe a Crocanura would evolve it into a better fighter, or maybe Hindervines or even Trollhide! The only limit is the creativity of your own design.
A card like Advent of the Wurm doesn't encourage this so much. A 5/5 Trampling Wurm token with Flash do... (see all)

Okay, so first we had Deadbridge Goliath, a four-mana 5/5 with no restrictions and scavenge.
...And now we have a four-mana 5/5 trampler with flash that can be populated! This is insane!

I don't know about you, but I'm calling this card Kevin Bacon from now on, because this is the movie Tremors in card form.

Wow! A card that will please Timmy (big creature lover), Spike (competitive player) and Johnny (combo-guy) players alike!
For Timmies, this is a big card 5/5 trampler for only 4 mana.
Same reasoning for Spikes, except that the reason is more centered on the mana-cost rather than the fact that it's a big fatty.
For Johnnies, well, this is a creature token, so it can bolster a deck that plays around that kind of stuff (yes, the obvious mechanic is Populate).
5/5 from me
