I love this card with Igneous Pouncer and Twisted Abomination. They make it an Explosive Impact that fetches you a land four turns before you even cast it.

It's not a good card, might even be worse in limited, but the flavor text almost makes me want to play it anyway.

Stop whining and build your deck to get along with this. In my Rakdos the Defiler reanimator EDH deck, I see no problem in getting my Reiver Demon or Dread Cacodemon or Demon of Death's Gate back to my hand from the 'yard with this. Also flavorful as, well, hell.
