Really sounds like he should have first strike. Nonetheless, haste is key at 3cmc and this guy is probably on the short list for best common of the set.

@Totema: If a good viashino is all it takes, then I'm pretty sure hell froze over back in Urza block. Not that that would be surprising I suppose.

Boros. The only place where Minotaurs and Viashino can go and be GUARANTEED to be good.

This is the new Skyknight Legionnaire in the same fashion as Nivix Cyclops being the new Wee Dragonauts, with the exception that Wee Dragonauts wasn't reprinted.
Between this, Legion Loyalist, Legionnaire, and Flame-Kin Zealot from the last block, there's potential for a hasty Boros deck. Also add in Cerodon Yearling and Goblin Guide.

Its going to have competition for Boros three drops (Boros Reckoner, Skyknight Legionnaire) but its the first Viashino card I actually see people playing.
Viashino Skeleton is exempt because you'd only play it for laughs.

Solid art, solid card. After Innistrad block rotates, I think this guy sees constructed play in Boros aggro. It seems like a very good Limited pick, too.

Fine card. A 4/4 haster for three mana is nice, even with it being weaker later on.

For the first time in what must be at least 15 years, we finally get a playable Viashino. A Gray Ogre/Pearled Unicorn that can hit for 4 the first turn it's out is pretty good, and it also goes well with Deputy of Acquittals in Limited. Both of them are common as well.

A Viashino with no miserable drawback? Holy hell. Not to mention it is arguably the best common in Dragon's Maze.
LOVE.

Delicious. I love me some hasty three-drops. These might even replace the three Boros Reckoners I jammed into my casual standard Boros aggro deck if only due to the fact that they have haste and Reckoner doesn't. This doesn't replace Skyknight Legionnaire (it doesn't have evasion), but it does exactly what a foot soldier should do: it hits fast and it hits hard. Fun times for all.
