Slaughter horn is better because it has the same power and comes out a turn earlier. The only "slightly better" part of this card is because it's in red.

Personally, I really like Hill GIants in limited. I found this to be an extremely versatile attacker, blocker, and combat trick. Every red deck at my prerelease seemed to have a copy.

A nearly-uncounterable Brute Force that can also be a Hill Giant if you reeeeaaaally need it. Awesome in Limited, very playable in Pauper.

Not a stand-out card of its mechanic, but surely a limited workhorse. It's cards like these that form the backbone of a fine deck.
I like him, These mountain giants are fine in my casual group.

One pair of eyes for each point of power and toughness.
Then again, i'm still not entirely sure if there are in fact three pairs of eyes -
looking at the artwork of this card is almost as confusing as looking at the artwork of Forsee.
