I read this card with an imaginary exclamation point,
in the voice from the mage in Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds.

Then again, that's true for most cards that appeared in that game.
Suntail Hawk is one of the more frequent spells though, so it's a bit more etched in my mind.

The two extra legs always seemed weird to me as well.
I think even in that game, it had four legs.
Maybe his mother was half-Griffin.

A 1/1 Flying creature for W isn't a bad deal, but in constructed you're probably better off using Judge's Familiar in it's place most of the time.

This is entirely playable in casual. It's no Judge's Familiar, but unless you drop one turn one, there's very little difference.
