As far as standard goes, this card used with Armed // Dangerous and/or Ghor-Clan Rampager can end up being better than ancestral recall if you are attacking with another creature that isn't being blocked.

Dauntless Onslaught could have been green (see Symbiosis), but Warriors' Lesson is the the only one of the cycle that couldn't have been white.

Somehow this card reminds me of Thoughtcast in Mirrodin block affinity. Indeed, if you can make a bunch of Frogmites on turn one, this is pretty much Thoughtcast. Which, by the way, is halfway between Reach Through Mists and Ancestral Recall.
In current Standard, I'm not sure about this. Domri Rade is usually more consistent card drawing if you're creature-heavy, since this doesn't help you when you're behind - the worst feeling is to draw two of these and have every one of your creatures killed. The key is to hit them (and draw cards) fast enough, that is, before they have everything under control. In a Heroic deck, however, this could be pretty good, since one trigger from Phalanx Leader or Agent of the Fates can already have a pretty big effect.

Does Warriors' Lesson stack with Bident of Thassa? Effectively doubling my card draw?

{G} Draw 2 cards. Only Play this after you 2nd turn.

I seriously think people overvalue a card that only serves to let you draw two cards, especially given how situational it is. In a green token deck where you have more wimps swinging in than they can feasibly block, this card speeds up your deck by one card. In almost any other green deck, I'd rather have almost any other one-cost green instant.

The Divination of agro decks.
At instant speed. And way cheaper.
This card is awesome, great heroic trigger, and pretty good in limited.
