Well of Lost Dreams goes obscenely well with this for obvious reasons.

If a Simic could use the life force of this, they just might claim that prize.

@PurpleRooster or double the lifegain from a Sphinx's Revelation in WUg decks! Or turn Invoke the Firemind into a Revelation in Izzet with a splash of green decks... Combos with Prime Speaker Zegana to draw 4 and gain 4 life if that is the lowest power creature you have otherwise more!

So, uh... Triple threat infinite combo with Archangel of Thune and Fathom Mage
(semi)infinite life, cards, and +1/+1 counters in standard, anyone?

It's a shame. If they'd gone a little less antelope and a little more mountain-goat with the horns, like some of the other chimeras - it would've been an ibis ibex.
Regardless, gorgeous card. Can't wait to open one. The Orzhov uncommon for Theros was pretty damn disappointing, but this Simic one is just what I hoped for.

Personally id be more happy if they made a chimera with heroic ability. boom instant deck concept.

And this, children, is why I play Simic.
4 mana on flash isn't outrageous, and it gives a surprise flying 3/2 blocker, which is nothing to sneeze at in the first place. Lifegain with draws is really un-simic of this card, but with all the card advantage that Blue gives, and all the recklessness that Green gives, lifegain is more than welcome. In a blue-based deck with draw cards in this set, this could gain you 3-4 life a turn, more if you have a bomb.

Brainstorm becomes healing salve with a cantrip and double card filter.
MIssed this my first time around and I really like it. Beautiful art, nice effect, fun card.
