Cheaper mana investment than Cradle of Vitality, but less flexible and more vulnerable to creature removal. I think I'd still rather go with the Cradle in most cases. I'll gladly include both in my Treva EDH deck, though (if there's room, that is).

@Shrikesnest, I'll be there that day to play a Cinder Cloud or a kicked Agonizing Demise in response.
