Compare Shattering Spree; Consign to Dust is still a decent choice, but one can only wonder what it would be like if it were 1Green (casting and strive) and a sorcery instead. Maybe a little too good.

Strive gives it some flexibility, but are you really going to spend 4GreenGreen to destroy two artifacts or enchantments? Rain of Thorns gave you land destruction too for the same cost ( though sorcery, not instant. )

Compared to Destructive Revelry, Sundering Growth, Naturalize, or even Artisan's Sorrow, I just don't see this as being a better option 90% of the time.

Hmmm...
I agree with the points of my fellow gamers' comments, but at the same time see this as having decent EDH potential.

Austere Command
Back to Nature
Purify
Tempest of Light

All those enchantments and no enchantment-wipe. SMH
