@RAV0004
It's not really a valid comparison, because you can't get your creature back with parity by using a Lightning Bolt or similar on the siren. You would require a niche removal spell that could hit an aura, or you'd have to kill the enchanted creature, leaving the opponent with 3 cards up on you; the remaining siren, the initial creature, and the removal spell.

I think I would have preferred our enchantment clone (think what they did with Phyrexian Metamorph). This is still awesome, though.

Basically a more flexible Spirit Away. I like that early game it can be a flying weenie, and late game it can be a pseudo-removal spell.

Guys, you don't understand. This card is not constructed playable at all whatsoever. Even if mono blue devotion wasn't dieing off anyway, this card would not help that deck at all. A 1/1 flyer for one only works if it has some very strong upside, like Judge's Familiar and Cloudfin Raptor. As long as those cards are Standard legal, no competitive Standard player worth his salt is going to touch the Siren.

Here's the deal: seven mana is way too much in order to take control of an opponent's creature, even if it gives it +1/+1 and flying and you get a 1/1 flyer after it dies. It just isn't strong enough an effect for seven mana (don't you dare compare this with the powerhouse that is Sower of temptation). Mono blue devotion usually curves out at four, maaaaaaybe five with the occasional sideboard card. A few decks stretch to six with an Aetherling on sideboard, but a lot of people would say... (see all)

A 1/1 might not be much advantage after your controlled creature dies, but you can bounce her and re-cast to control something else which can be pretty nasty, effectively converting your early game bounce into more mind controls. Also, y'know, Peel from Reality
