This was the second to last printing of this card and I suppose it has seen its hay day come and go. Nevertheless, it was always a fun card and worked well with mono-green when you always had a lot of forests out to cast your big green monsters.
Life and Limb is of course strictly better and really usurped this Living Lands place in magic. Oh well.
This card would be fun with Hunting Wilds and Murkfiend Liege if you didn't have any Life and Limb's handy. Watch out for cards like Rank and File or especially Reign of Terror.
The art is absolutely inferior to art used up through Forth Edition for this card.

Assuming you play a forest every turn, you can attack and overrun your opponent with just lands on turn five for 4 power x 5 lands = 20 damage.
Play elves during turns 1,2, and 3, and I think you have a decently fun deck!

Sorry, but all your 5 lands/creatures will be tapped for paying overrun (unless you will pay mana with elves or any other source of mana) and additionally, your fifth forest will have summoning sickness, so it will be unable to attack.
This enchantment can be useful in right deck, but not as much usefull as some may think ...
