You mean the morph shell spidery things? IIRC, they have been confirmed to be what the creatures 'Morph' into.

Strictly better than Break Open. Yeah, I know I'm misusing "strictly" there since they're in different colors and different CMC's and comparing instants and creatures is unrealistic, but if I use this, no one laughs at me. So, strictly better.
